Serene Pushkar

Serene Pushkar is a mixed-residential community located along the Sholinganallur Main Road, which connects OMR with ECR at the Sholinganallur junction.

The senior community consists of 135 1-BHK flats, most of which are sold out, but some could be available for rent. The premises are maintained by a Resident Manager and Assistant Resident Manager. The apartments are semi-furnished. Facilities such as meeting room, common kitchen, medical centre and pool are available. Columbia-Pacific takes care of the senior community including their needs for food, wellness and in-house maintenance.

The rental is of 3 parts - rent for the apartment itself, common maintenance for the mixed community, and the maintenance payable to Columbia-Pacific for the senior-specific care. Food (based on consumption), daily cleaning and once-a-month deep cleaning are included in this.

Resident nurses are available on site and a geriatric specialist visits every Saturday. They have a tie-up with KL Hospital and Global Hospital for medical care. Ramps are provided near steps, and many elevators have been installed to help the seniors, but senior-friendly implementations within the apartment itself are minimal and have to be installed separately. There is a common resident association and a senior association, which take care of issues and plan activities for the residents. The main advantage of Serene Pushkar is the mixed community, as the seniors get to meet and interact with people of all ages during their evening stroll.
